Imphal, November 22 2025: The Imphal Saikul Road Joint Development Committee has raised concern over the deplorable condition of the Imphal-Saikul road.

Speaking to media persons today at the office of Pangei Yangdong Youth Development Association (PYYDA) in Pangei Keithel, Imphal Saikul Road Joint Development Committee convenor Tonjam Somorjit said that road has been in a bad shape for a long time and is filled with numerous potholes, cracks, and hazardous debris making travel increasingly dangerous.

"Such dangerous conditions not only cause inconveniences to the drivers but also pose serious risks to the passengers', he added.

He also claimed that despite multiple appeals and complaints made to departments concerned, no positive measures have been taken to address the issue.
