AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The West Texas A&M Buffaloes erased a halftime deficit by forcing 10 turnovers and shooting 56.3% in the second half to defeat the Central Oklahoma Bronchos 81-70 at the First United Bank Center.

Buffaloes take control after intermission

West Texas A&M seized momentum early in the second half. Jailyn Sledge sparked the run with a steal, putback and fastbreak dunk that extended the lead.

The Bronchos could not match the Buffaloes’ defensive pressure as turnovers mounted, and West Texas A&M dominated the second half 47-34.

Head coach Tom Brown credited halftime adjustments for the turnaround.
