MACON, Ga. — The GIAA State Championships returned to Five Star Stadium. Day two featured two different flocks of Eagles with Brentwood and Stratford center stage.

2A: Brentwood vs. Southwest Georgia

The season finale action started with a 2024 rematch between Brentwood and Southwest Georgia Academy. The War Eagles claimed back-to-back titles after defeating the Warriors 38-6.

Brentwood's victory was fueled by an explosive second half performance by their offense. Sophomore running back Tristan Robinson led the way for the War Eagles offense causing havoc in the run game.

After a 37-yard field by Brayden Tyson on Brentwood's opening drive, the rest of the first half was relatively quiet for both teams. After halftime, the Eagles put up 21 points in the third quarter.
