Clearing skies and dry weather will settle over New Jersey tonight as high pressure builds in, bringing a quiet start to the week with temperatures in the 40s and 50s.

Any lingering rain from Saturday’s coastal storm will taper off this evening, with skies clearing overnight.

Lows tonight will drop into the upper 20s to low 30s across most of New Jersey, with some inland areas potentially seeing temperatures in the low to mid 20s.

A weak clipper system passing to the north on Sunday could bring a few light showers or sprinkles to northwestern New Jersey’s higher elevations during the evening, though most areas will remain dry under partly cloudy skies.
