The UK is bracing for more cold weather in just a few days, according to new weather maps. A large portion of the country will be plunged into low single-digit and sub-zero temperatures on November 25 with the arrival of bitterly cold weather, as revealed by WXCharts and Netweather maps.

According to a weather map by Netweather, by Tuesday lunchtime, the coldest area in the UK will be the Scottish Highlands, where temperatures could drop to as low as -6C. The nearest major city is Inverness, where minimum temperatures are predicted to hover around -4C .

Elsewhere in Scotland, Aberdeen on the northeast coast is expected to see temperatures of around -2 °C, while Dundee and Glasgow are predicted to be only slightly warmer at -1 C and 0C, respectively. In the south, London will manage t
