Venezuela CUT OFF, U.S. Forces Surround Maduro; Global Airlines Halt Flights Ahead Of U.S. Attack Global carriers are abruptly grounding flights out of Venezuela after the U.S. FAA warned of a “potentially hazardous” security environment over the country. Reuters reports that airlines including Iberia, TAP Air Portugal, Avianca and Gol have cancelled operations as U.S. forces surge into the Caribbean ahead of possible new action against Maduro’s government.
