The Jammu and Kashmir Police's State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Saturday detained a man in connection with the November 10 blast near Delhi's Red Fort, that killed at least ten people.
Identified as Tufail Niyaz Bhat, an electrician from Srinagar's Batamaloo area, he has been suspected of involvement in the 'white collar' terror module.
Though Bhat's role in the blast has not yet been revealed to the public, a local CID official told Hindustan Times that there was now concrete evidence linking the electrician to the blast (and its planning).
The case so far
A Delhi court on Saturday has allowed Jasir Bilal Wani (alias Danish), another of the prime accused in the case, to meet his lawyer at the NIA headquarters.
