Gennesaret Inc.’s Home Run for the Homeless: Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27. The benefit is being held in person and online. The 1-mile fun run/walk is at 8:30 a.m. and the 4-mile run/walk is at 9 a.m. The course starts and finishes at Gennesaret’s Family Nutritional Center, 419 W. Exchange St., Akron. The virtual run or walk is anytime in November. Registration fees: 4-mile event in person, $30, or virtual, $25; 1-mile event in person or virtual, $5.
