Vanderbilt reportedly trying to flip nation's No. 1 QB from SEC foe
Georgia commit Jared Curtis remains firmly in the spotlight as one of the biggest flip-watches in the 2026 class. However, it's tied to an unlikely team. Vanderbilt is gaining real traction in its pursuit of the Five-Star Plus+ quarterback.
Curtis, the No. 1 quarterback in the Rivals300, has been committed to Georgia since May, but the in-state Commodores have intensified their push as National Signing Day nears.
The Nashville Christian star visited Georgia recently and has made several stops at Vanderbilt, including a practice and the Commodores’ matchup with Missouri on Oct. 25. Communication between Curtis and Vanderbilt has remained steady, fueling speculation of a late-cycle battle.
