The injury-riddled Maple Leafs started a five-game road trip with a lacklustre 5-2 loss in Montreal on Saturday.
They’ll try to double their road win total for the season on Wednesday in Columbus — maybe with a few healthy bodies back.
They went 1-2-1 this segment, perhaps showing signs they’re getting out of their funk. Maybe not.
Anyway, thank goodness Joseph Woll showed up, because we’re not sure where they’d have been without him this segment.
