BBC Breakfast aired an important message following a segment on farmers seeking medical advice from vets rather than the NHS , with some delaying necessary check-ups.

A new initiative will train UK vets to identify several human health conditions, including cancer , in an effort to encourage those in the farming industry to seek medical help for concerning symptoms. This is a joint venture between the Farming Community Network and Macmillan Cancer Support.
