The Bengaluru city police on Sunday (November 23, 2025) arrested a seventh suspect in the ₹7.11 crore cash van robbery reported on November 19.
The accused, identified as Rakesh, was related to one of the suspects arrested earlier. He was arrested in Bengaluru late on Saturday night and further recovery is yet to be made, a police officer part of the probe team said.
The police had earlier arrested six persons involved in the heist and recovered a total of ₹6.2 crore from them.
Among those arrested earlier were former employees of CMS Info Systems, a man working as fleet incharge responsible for operating the cash-transport vehicles, and Annappa Naik, a police constable attached to the Govindapura police station.
