For years, Jon Gosselin was wary of adding to his household.

While he'd had a number of girlfriends since his 2009 divorce from Kate Gosselin , the Jon & Kate Plus 8 alum admitted to E! News in April 2024 that "PTSD and trust issues" kept him from finding a lasting connection.

Until the 48-year-old met Stephanie Lebo , that is.

Calling her his "best friend," Jon said that he could "fully open up" with the research and development specialist.

"It's very relieving," he explained, "and then I can just go be me."

So much so that Jon popped the question last November and the couple are planning to tie the knot Nov. 23.

As Stephanie teased Feb. 23 on Instagram: "9 mos. ‘til I’m officially a Gosselin."
