BBC to shut down Clifton Suspension Bridge to film well-known drama View Image

The Clifton Suspension Bridge will be closed to drivers and cyclists for one night this week while filming of a "well known" BBC drama gets underway.

The closure will be in place from 7.30pm to 1am on Thursday (November 27), but will not apply to pedestrians.

It is not yet clear which drama is being filmed, with details so far kept under wraps.

A diversion will, however, be in place, using Bridge Valley Road, Brunel Way and A369 Rownham Hill.
