A London-based composer who worked on John Lewis' latest Christmas advert revealed the horror he faced on a dream hike that turned into a deadly tragedy.

A group of tourists had set off on a trek in Chile's Torres del Paine nature reserve when a horror 120mph blizzard struck while they were going up a desolate mountain in Patagonia. Composer Tom Player said he saw a dead man, lying on his front with his eyes still open, while he went up the peak to try and save his pal.
