Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is currently in South Africa for the G20 Summit , held a leaders’ meeting of IBSA on the margins of the summit with Brazilian President Lula da Silva and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa on Sunday, and offered suggestions to boost cooperation among the three countries.
Asserting that IBSA reflects India’s commitment to strengthening the voice of the Global South, PM Modi said on X, “IBSA is no ordinary grouping. It is an important platform that connects three continents, three large democratic powers and three major economies."
