A handyman who carried out a 'massacre' of four people at a mansion dinner party has died in jail, leaving the daughter of one victim 'numb' but 'elated'. George Stephenson, 73, was jailed in 1987 for rape, robbery and murder .
YorkshireLive reported the killer died on April 20 at high security HMP Full Sutton, near York. This week, a report by the Prisons Ombudsman found Stephenson had died in hospital of heart failure and ischaemic heart disease.
Going back to the horrific murder , Stephenson had once worked as a handyman at Burgate House, a secluded mansion in Fordingbridge on the edge of the New Forest in Hampshire, reports YorkshireLive .
