King Charles and Prince William could be on the verge of a row over a proposed new slurry pit which would lie less than a few miles from the latter's Anmer Hall

King Charles, Prince William , and Princess Kate could be on the verge of a row over the proposed position of a new slurry pit on the Sandringham estate.

The pit, reportedly capable of holding more than two million gallons of manure, is said to be close to William’s Grade II-listed mansion, Anmer Hall, according to planning documents from King’s Lynn & West Norfolk Borough Council.

William’s Georgian home, given to him by the late Queen Elizabeth II as a wedding gift, lies just under a mile from the proposed pit.

The new facility would cover an area of 86 by 46 metres and hold up to 2,160,538 gallons of slurry.
