Mumbai, Nov 23: Actor Suniel Shetty inaugurated the 10 km run of the WNC Half Marathon 2025 on Sunday, joined by his son Ahan Shetty, actor Riteish Deshmukh, and Western Naval Command chief, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Krishna Swaminathan.

Addressing participants at the event, the Border star expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of Wing Commander Namansh Syal, who lost his life when a Tejas fighter aircraft crashed during the Dubai Air Show 2025. “It is an extremely sad incident. The investigation is underway. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to every officer who serves the nation in uniform. I am very proud of them,” Shetty said.
