Former Chennai Super Kings pacer Deepak Chahar has narrated an incident where MS Dhoni lost his cool on him during an IPL game, calling him stupid for trusting him to do the job, as the former marked his appearance on popular reality TV show Big Boss.

Chahar recounted an incident from an IPL 2019 clash between CSK and PBKS in Chennai. Batting first, Chennai posted 160/3, leaving PBKS needing 39 off the final 12 deliveries in the chase.

Chahar was handed the 19th over but started horribly, sending down a no-ball first up and giving away five runs. Another no-ball followed with a well-set Sarfaraz Khan on strike.

Chahar recalled how Dhoni lost his cool and scolded him for the repeated mistakes.
