Major changes to benefit policy in the UK appear imminent. A policy affecting nearly two million homes appears set to be changed based on a clear hint dropped today by a minister on national television, as well as multiple media reports.
Benefit plans for the Budget have this morning been in the spotlight on the BBC show Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg. Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander was asked if the two-child benefit cap was about to end - and if she would be pleased if that happened.
