Instead of buying more property for apartments, why doesn’t the City Council designate the property for community food gardens? There’s certainly a greater need for that.

I surely appreciate recent op-eds that originated from local high school students, I think almost all of them from Silver Creek. That group has shown a stellar ability to capture the essence of some of the issues that face the regional society, the schools and many of our political ills. I hope this idealism lasts.
