The eighth annual Multifaith Thanksgiving Service will take place at 7 p.m. Sunday at Walsingham Academy.

Hosted by the hosted by Historic Area Religions Together, or HART, the service will include representatives from many of Williamsburg’s religious communities — Jewish, Muslim, Unitarian, Buddhist, Hindu and a variety of Christians — who will “share readings, prayers and reflections giving thanks for religious diversity and the freedom that makes it possible,” said the Rev. Lisa Green, rector of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church.

The service will include music and liturgical dance and will be followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments courtesy of the Rumi Friendship Association.
