The Election Commission of India (ECI) Sunday reported significant progress in Phase II of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2025, with over 99% of electors receiving Enumeration Forms (EFs) in 12 states and Union territories. According to the ECI’s Daily Bulletin, more than 50.47 crore EFs have been distributed, with over 20 crore forms (nearly 40%) digitized.

The states with the highest EF distribution rates include Goa and Lakshadweep, with 100% distribution, followed by Andaman and Nicobar Islands (99.98%), Madhya Pradesh (99.82%), and West Bengal (99.75%).

In terms of digitization, Lakshadweep leads with 88.20%, followed by Goa (69.38%), and Rajasthan (65.52%). The ECI has urged recognized political parties to appoint more Booth Level Agents to accelerate verification
