New Delhi: FIFA has taken stock of Mohun Bagan’s concern over All India Football Federation’s delay in resolution of Anwar’s Ali transfer dispute and would enquire the reason for it dragging on for 16 months.
Bagan sought FIFA’s intervention on November 14 after being exasperated with continuous delays and seemingly no end in sight to their plea on adjudication of Ali’s contentious transfer to East Bengal.
The matter was brought to FIFA’s notice as AIFF postponed hearing of the matter at its appeal committee “until further notice” following the resignation of one of its members.
