Arts & Education at the Hoyt, a museum, art and education center in New Castle, is hosting a holiday open house on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. showcasing its Alex Crawford Hoyt Period House.
The house is decorated with over 15 Christmas trees and thousands of twinkling lights, allowing visitors to see holiday displays throughout the mansion.
During the event, those in attendance have the chance to take part in holiday crafts, free cookies and cocoa, and snap a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus. The Sunday open house will also allow guests to get hands-on experiences with demonstrations in drawing, ceramics, stained glass, watercolor and cello.
