NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans celebrates the Holidays like the city knows how, with a Mardi Gras-style parade.

The holiday season in New Orleans arrives each year with a full slate of parades that highlight the city’s traditions, neighborhoods, and winter celebrations.

Manning Family Children’s Holiday Parade

When: Sunday, Dec. 7, 12:30 PM

Where: Starts at the New Orleans Jazz Museum and ends at the National WWII Museum

The Manning Family Children’s Hospital New Orleans Holiday Parade lights up the French Quarter every December. The event features 30 holiday-themed floats, high-flying helium balloons, more than a dozen marching bands and dancing groups, and an appearance by Santa.
