The Colorado Buffaloes hung around for a while on Saturday night during their senior night in Boulder, but the Arizona State Sun Devils ultimately proved too much, outscoring Colorado 21–0 in the fourth quarter to close out a 42–17 win.
The loss drops the Buffaloes to 3–8 as they head into their regular-season finale next week against Kansas State, which will wrap up Deion Sanders’ third season leading the program.
While Colorado has shown major improvement since Sanders arrived in 2023, this year was a step back — and after the loss, Sanders made it clear that major changes are coming.
