A 14-year-old boy was shot twice Saturday night in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood, Chicago police reported.
At around 10:50 pm, the boy was walking in the 4700 block of South King Drive, near the South Side Sanctuary park, when he heard a loud noise and felt pain, according to police.
The boy was shot twice in the right calf and was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where he is in a fair condition.
Detectives are investigating, and no one is in custody.
