SIMI VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- Police have arrested a man accused of slashing the tires of nearly a dozen cars on the same residential street in Simi Valley.
The incidents happened Thursday night on Cochran Street, one of which was caught on surveillance video. It shows a man walking up to a car parked on the street and appearing to stab it with something sharp.
Russell Myers, 32, was arrested Saturday and booked at Ventura County Jail. He was originally arrested Thursday after police received a call about an armed man in the streets. He was taken into custody for being in possession of a dagger before being released.
Later that night, police received several reports of tire slashings but Myers was not yet connected to the vandalism.
