A Republican Senator instrumental to MAGA’s push for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to serve as Secretary for Health and Human Services refuses to admit the notorious conspiracy theorist may have been less than candid about his anti-vax agenda.
“RFK Jr., according to his own family, is causing real damage to the health of the U.S.,” CNN host Jake Tapper said to Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy, 68, Sunday on State of the Union. “You don’t seem willing to criticise him by name at all.”
Cassidy was equally blistering as he was evasive in his response. “Clearly, you want me to be on the record saying something negative,” he shot back. “Of course, it makes news if Republicans fight each other.”
