Two men were arrested in connection with a stabbing in Palm Springs early Saturday, Nov. 22.
The Palm Springs Police Department received a 911 call at about 1:51 a.m. Saturday reporting an altercation in the 200 block of South Palm Canyon Drive.
A 32-year-old man visiting the area sustained multiple stab wounds and was transported to a local hospital, where he was in stable condition, police said.
Jasper Oneal, 21, and Roman Pellum, 29, were identified as suspects in the investigation, and both were arrested. Jail records show both Oneal and Pellum were being held Saturday at the John J. Benoit Detention Center in Indio. Oneal was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, and Pellum was booked on suspicion of battery, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.
