1Kansas City, KS – A 22-year-old man is accused of killing his girlfriend at a party she attended despite his objections. Kevin Calamaco-Morales allegedly shot 20-year-old Ana Juarez early Wednesday morning.

Witnesses reported that Calamaco-Morales called Juarez 18 times in two minutes before the shooting. He allegedly sent a message calling her a derogatory name shortly before arriving at the home where the party was held.

Friends said Juarez had been at a Halloween gathering when Calamaco-Morales began trying to contact her. They noted that she had previously expressed concern over his controlling behavior regarding her social outings.
