Oak Park police are seeking assistance with information regarding the fatal hit-and-run of a 71-year-old veteran.

Officers arrived at West Nine Mile Road near Harding Street, at around 5:20 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, to find a wheelchair-bound man had been struck by a car. Officers executed lifesaving measures, but the man was pronounced dead.
