CHICAGO -- Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver DK Metcalf i s questionable to return with ankle injury. Metcalf suffered the injury on a first down run by Jaylen Warren and went to the sideline limping off. He was immediately taken into the blue medical tent.
The Steelers’ top wide receiver, Metcalf already has a touchdown on the game, but his potential injury could throw a complete curveball into this game for Pittsburgh. It would give more work to Roman Wilson and Calvin Austin III.
Depth wide receivers Ke’Shawn Williams and Scotty Miller could see more work if Metcalf not return to the game. Pittsburgh does not have another player on the team, outside of Ben Skowronek, that has the size Metcalf does at outside wide receiver. It will likely mean less contested catch passes down
