2GAITHERSBURG, MD – Detectives are investigating two shootings that occurred Wednesday night in the Fairland neighborhood, one of which left a 20-year-old man dead.

The first incident was reported around 7:54 p.m. when officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of Robey Terrace for a shooting victim.

The second scene was discovered about an hour later when officers conducting a search found a man fatally shot nearby.
