Kaytron Allen sets Penn State's career rushing mark in win over Nebraska
Kaytron Allen ran for 160 yards and two touchdowns to become Penn State’s all-time rushing leader as the Nittany Lions cruised past Nebraska 37-10 on Saturday night. The victory also keep their bowl hopes alive weeks after the school fired James Franklin.
Allen, who posted 181 yards in last week’s win over Michigan State, continued his late-season surge. He climbed past Saquon Barkley on the career rushing list in the first half and surpassed Evan Royster’s long-standing mark of 3,932 yards with a 3-yard run in the fourth quarter. The senior now sits at 3,954 career yards.
