BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Farmers, food producers and artisans got a chance to shine in Bangor with the return of special event.
The 13th annual Maine Harvest Festival and Craft Show took place this weekend inside the Cross Insurance Center.
The event was free to enter and featured over 150 local vendors from both Maine and out-of-state.
Attendees could shop for locally made products, of which includes handmade jewelry, candles and plenty of tasty treats.
Organizers say the event helps represent businesses from all corners of Maine, as well as being an important drive for the state’s economy.
“I think it’s great, coming down from the county, you got a lot of people who never make it up to the county. If they’re trying to find Maine potatoes, they’ll say ‘we can’t find these in the stores
