Tee Higgins suffered a scary injury as the Bengals tried to make a late comeback against the Patriots.

As Joe Flacco looked Higgins’ way on a deep ball down the right sideline, the wide receiver attempted to make a leaping one-handed catch as Carlton Davis interfered, and didn’t brace himself as his head slammed the turf.

Higgins stayed down and Davis was flagged for pass interference.

The wide receiver was carted to the locker room and the Bengals didn’t have an immediate update on his status.

New England also suffered a slew of injuries on Sunday afternoon at Paycor Stadium, as rookie linemen Will Campbell (knee) and Jared Wilson (ankle) were both carted off the field as well.
