LOGAN — A second teenager has died from injuries sustained in Saturday night’s two-vehicle crash in Providence . The boy and girl have both been identified by law enforcement, as the investigation into the crash continues.
Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Cade Brenchley said CJ Fiefia, 17, of Avon died at the scene of the crash. Xylie Hutchinson, 14, of Hyrum passed away at a trauma center Sunday morning.
Troopers report the five teenagers, three boys and two girls, were traveling in a Toyota Corolla, near 1815 South SR-165. The car was northbound when it lost control and skidded into the far southbound lane, where it was struck on the passenger side by a Toyota Sienna.
The force of the impact caused the Corolla to roll, coming to a rest on its top.
