Family and friends are rallying round after a much-loved doorman known as 'Viking' tragically died on the second day of his honeymoon. 'Gentle giant' Stewart Gordon was well-known to clubbers in Sheffield from his security job at The Leadmill club.

Friends and family have been left devastated by his sudden death aged 50 while on honeymoon to Iceland with wife Abi on October 28. Well-wishers are now rallying round to pay for his funeral costs, with more than 160 people donating more than £4,000 to GoFundMe appeal.

Many people have posted tributes on social media. They described Stewart, of Sheffield, as a "lovely bloke" who had a "heart of gold". One described him as a "legend" and a "gentle giant".
