FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth's annual Parade of Lights was postponed Sunday due to a risk for storms, organizers announced.
North Texas should expect a round of rain starting Sunday night into Monday morning. The latest forecast shows heavy rain overnight, and most of the rain should be out of the area Monday afternoon.
Due to the threat of storms, organizers have postponed the Parade of Lights until 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30.
The Parade of Lights is an annual Fort Worth event that sees floats and people covered in lights parade through Downtown Fort Worth.
The parade route begins at the intersection of Weatherford and Throckmorton Streets and ends on 3rd Street, according to the parade's website. You can view a map of the route here .
