CHARLOTTE, N.C. — People traveling ahead of Thanksgiving could be impacted by rain on Tuesday afternoon in the Carolinas.
Rainfall is expected on Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning. Forecast models show rain covering the Charlotte area around 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
There is little chance the rain will cause any severe impacts. The highest impact will be on travelers, either on their way home for work or on the road for Thanksgiving-related reasons.
