Saints running back Alvin Kamara has battled inconsistent play and minor injuries this season. But despite an ankle issue that had him listed as questionable, he was able to give it a go on Sunday against the Falcons.
It ended up being a short day against the NFC South rival.
Late in the first quarter, Kamara's right leg was bent awkwardly after a tackle from Atlanta's Kaden Elliss. Kamara went to the blue medical tent for a bit and then returned to the sidelines. But he would make another trip to the tent and then went to the locker room.
The Saints ultimately ruled Kamara as questionable with a knee injury, but he remained in the locker room for the rest of the first half.
He was later ruled out.
His day ended at three carries for 11 yards.
