CHARLESTON, S.C. — Georgia basketball snapped a 10-year drought from the NCAA Tournament last March thanks to a body of work that included a November nonconference win that strengthened its potseason résumé all season.

Clemson didn’t offer quite that cache when the Bulldogs and Tigers met for the Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic championship on Sunday Nov. 23, but it gave the Bulldogs a game against probably its highest rated opponent before SEC play begins.
