Two people killed in crash near Ceresco, authorities confirm

CERESCO, Neb. (WOWT) - Two people are dead after a crash near Ceresco Sunday afternoon.

The Saunders County Sheriff’s Office confirmed with First Alert 6 that two people were killed in a crash along Highway 77 around 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Currently, it is unknown what caused the crash. First Alert 6 saw a pickup truck and a motorcycle hauled away from the scene from Nebraska Department of Transportation cameras.

Highway 77 re-opened completely just before 4 p.m. Sunday.
