Game of Thrones’upcoming spinoff is not only going to result in an exciting franchise-first, but it’s also going to solve a problem burdening most modern fantasy shows. The result of Game of Thrones coming to an end in 2019 was an enormous vacuum that practically every streamer has attempted to fill with their version of a fantasy epic, but be it The Witcher, The Wheel of Time, or even House of the Dragon, every title has been met with a varying degree of displeasure from audiences. HBO might finally have found a way to rectify that.
