An 18-year-old male is recovering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound after a shooting just after midnight on Water Street, the Chattanooga Police Department says.

Officers responded to the call, and while investigating the scene the teen arrived at a local hospital with the injury.

No suspect is currently in custody.
