Two people were arrested and accused of stealing hundreds of dollars in clothing from the Vacaville Premium Outlets Friday afternoon, the police department said.
Vacaville police said an employee called them just before 5:30 p.m. after noticing a woman stealing clothes and jumping into a waiting vehicle.
Authorities said roughly $700 worth of clothes were stolen. The vehicle was spotted entering westbound I-80, where officers stopped it, according to officials.
Police said the stolen merchandise was found inside the vehicle in plain view. 50-year-old Emelda Miles and 38-year-old Antoinique Bryant complied with officers’ commands and were detained, authorities reported.
According to the police department, both suspects were booked into the Solano County Jail on suspicion of shoplifting
