A Redditor was left stunned after finding out that their dad's new wife was the "mystery woman" who broke up their parents' marriage.

In the post , they explained that their parents "divorced 8 years ago, my dad swore there wasn’t anyone else, that he and my mom had 'just grown apart.'"

However, during a recent family BBQ, the truth came out.

“One of my dad’s old coworkers pulled me aside and said, ‘So crazy he finally married her after all those years sneaking around.’ I asked what she meant. She said, 'You know… that woman,'" they recalled.
